Negative Air Ions (NAIs)- Air Purifier
Air Purification – NAIs attaches to particulate matters, causing them to drop from air, to eliminate dusts and odors including PM 2.5, pollen, aerosols, mold spores, smoke, smog, and other air pollutants.

Solution for  Environment  Safe

  • UVC (ultraviolet type-C) light is part of the ultraviolet spectrum, typically between 200 to 280 nanometers.

  • UVC has proven effective at eliminating pathogens in minutes.

  • It is commonly used for disinfection in unoccupied space, such as hospital sterilization and drinking water disinfection.

  • However, UVC exposure can cause damage to human skin and eyes.

Hospital grade disinfection
common tools for sterilization
  • Proven Tech – ultraviolet (UV) light and ozone has proven effective at eliminating pathogens for decades. Nowadays, it is commonly used in hospital sterilization and drinking water disinfection.

  • Effective - direct exposure of UVC and ozone kills or inactivates viruses, bacteria, fungi, molds, bugs, and mites both on the surfaces and suspended in the air by breaking their DNA and preventing replication.

  • Fast – the right intensity of UV light and concentration of ozone can eliminate pathogens in minutes.

 Does UVC kill SARS-CoV-2?

  • Does ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) kill SARS-CoV-2?

“Yes…UVGI can inactivate viruses in the air and on surfaces.” --                   CDC

See Ventilation FAQs Question 6  on  CDC Reference

  • Can UVC  inactivate the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus?

“UVC radiation has been shown to destroy the outer protein                        coating of the SARS-Coronavirus…UVC  radiation may also be                    effective in inactivating the SARS-CoV-2 virus.”  – FDA Reference

Cautions and Recommendations
  • Direct exposure to UVC causes damage to skin and eye cells.

  • High-concentration of ozone increases the risks of harmful respiratory effects.

  • Close doors and windows when UVC disinfection is operating.

  • Turn UV devices on/off from a safe distance via smart control

  • Enter the space at least 30 minutes after the disinfection for ozone to revert into oxygen.

Far-UVC

Far UVC is currently most common tool for the disinfection in public space

  • Far-UVC light is a type of UVC, typically between 207 to 222 nanometers.

  • Same effectiveness against pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, fungi, etc.

  • Safe to human skin and eyes

Far-UVC Studies
  • Efficient pathogen elimination without skin damaging effects (Reference)

  • Under lab setting, 222nm UVC irradiation reduces SARS-CoV-2 by 99.7% in 30 seconds (Reference)

  • In occupied public locations, continuous 222nm UVC exposure would result in ~90% viral inactivation of airborne human coronaviruses in ~8minutes, 95% in ~11minutes, 99% in ~16minutes and 99.9% inactivation in ~25minutes. (Reference)

  • Automatically  turn off   the UVC when people or pet are detected.

  • Automatically  turn on UVC after people or pets are leave.
